Most of thrust roller bearings are detachable, which makes installation and disassembly very convenient. This kind of bearing has very high rigidity and only occupies a small space, so it can withstand greater axial load and a certain amount of impact load. They are mainly used in applications where the load carrying capacity of thrust ball bearings is insufficient. thrust roller bearings are divided into cylindrical roller thrust bearings, tapered roller thrust bearings, spherical roller thrust bearings and needle roller thrust bearings according to their different structures.
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings are divided into single row cylindrical roller bearings and double row cylindrical roller bearings according to the number of bearing roller rows. Single row thrust cylindrical roller bearings can withstand axial load in one direction and limit axial displacement in one direction. Double row thrust cylindrical roller bearings can bear bidirectional axial load and limit axial displacement in both directions.
The inner and outer raceways of thrust tapered roller bearings are tapered, and the rolling elements are also tapered rollers. The extension lines of the three converge at the same point of the bearing line of the bearing. Therefore, the movement friction is smaller than other thrust roller bearings. Thrust tapered roller bearings do not allow angular error between the shaft and the bearing seat.
The inner and outer raceways of thrust roller bearings are spherical, and the rolling elements are also spherical. Therefore, it can be self-aligning, and the allowable angular error of the bearing is 2° to 3°. Its radial load is very large, and it can also bear a certain amount of axial load. thrust roller bearings can carry out an axial displacement from one direction. The allowable limit speed of thrust roller bearings is high.
The performance of thrust needle roller bearings is similar to thrust cylindrical roller bearings. But the axial dimension is smaller than the thrust cylindrical roller bearing, and the load capacity is large. As the length of the needle roller is small, the friction is high and the speed is low. Thrust needle roller bearings are divided into one-way needle roller bearings and two-way needle roller bearings according to the number of bearing roller rows. No angular error is allowed when installing thrust needle roller bearings.
