Spherical roller bearings consist of an outer ring with spherical raceways and an inner ring with double raceways, one or two cages and a set of spherical rollers. Since the center of the spherical raceway of the outer ring coincides with the center of the bearing, it has self-aligning performance. This kind of bearing can adjust the angle error or deflection caused by the angle of the shaft and the bearing box or the bending of the shaft. Spherical roller bearings have a high load-bearing capacity and can bear radial load and shaft load in two directions. It is particularly suitable for carrying heavy loads and shock loads, but this type of bearing allows a lower limit speed. The allowable alignment angle of spherical roller bearings under normal conditions is 1°~2.5°. If this type of bearing has a seal, the function will be reduced.
Spherical roller bearings consist of an outer ring with a spherical raceway, a double raceway inner ring, one or two cages and a set of spherical rollers. Since the center of the outer ring spherical raceway is consistent with the bearing center, it has
self-aligning performance and can automatically adjust the tilt or shaft deflection caused by the angular error between the shaft and the bearing seat.
Spherical roller bearings can withstand large radial loads
and bidirectional axial loads. Especially suitable for bearing heavy loads or shock and vibration loads. However, the allowable working speed of spherical roller bearings is relatively low.
The inner and outer rings and cage of split spherical roller bearings are cut into two halves at a certain angle along the axial direction. This structure has basically the same performance as ordinary integral spherical roller bearings, and has a large carrying capacity. It is used in occasions where the bearing cannot be installed in the axial direction. However, due to the split surface of the inner and outer ring raceways, the running speed is relatively low.
In addition to general open bearings, Spherical roller bearings can also provide customers with closed structure bearings with sealing rings on both sides. The sealing rings can be divided into contact or non-contact (low friction) according
to the contact form.
Bearings with sealing rings on both sides are filled with grease before leaving the factory, and the amount of grease filled is generally 25% to 35% of the effective space in the bearing. Bearings with sealing
rings on both sides should not be cleaned or heated above 80°C during installation. Otherwise, the bearings will be easily damaged or the grease will be degraded and lost. Bearings with seals can maintain their proper performance in
the ambient temperature range of 30℃~+100℃
